Cataract SymptomsThe most obvious cataract symptoms include blurred vision, sensitivity to light and glare, distortion, and dimming of colors and vision. A cataract is a clouding of the normally transparent lens of the eye. As the lens becomes increasingly opaque the cataract symptoms worsen and medical treatment is required. Other cataract symptoms include, difficulty focusing on objects similar to looking through a dirty window, glare around lights such as when driving at night, reading difficulties. Usually people notice a number of these things, although some cataract symptoms may be more pronounced than others and noticed only in certain types of light.
